It wasn't about fruit. It wasn't even about good and evil. It was about faith. In Adam and Eve, mankind made the choice to disbelieve God and to trust in the lies of Satan, the serpent. That choice changed everything. We make that choice each day in our decisions and the reasons behind our decisions. But there is hope. As the fruit from one tree proved to be a door for death to enter into the world, so the Fruit of another tree gives us life through His death. Because of Christ, we may anew face the temptation and this time choose to trust in Him.
